Shot List: Must Have Real Estate Photos

Thursday, 02 June 2022 23:56

Have you ever been searching online for a house, and then there it is: you love the outside of the house, it’s in your price range, and it has the right amount of bedrooms, bathrooms, etc. Then disappointment sinks in as you come to find that’s the only singular photo listed.

There is no doubt that a lack of photos keeps people from wanting to view homes in which they might otherwise be interested. Not only does it slow down their process of buying, but it slows down the process of selling for real estate agents and home sellers.

Summer Wedding Photography Tips

So you’ve set your wedding day for the summer, and you’re working through all the details of planning your wedding. I know that photography is a big part of your wedding! It will be the one thing that you have to look back on and remember from your wedding day.

Since you and I both know how important photography is, don’t forget to think about the details of the photography. Get together with your photographer to talk about the “dos” and “don’ts” for your photoshoots (engagement, bridal, wedding), and create a checklist of things to accomplish.

The demand for new homes has grown in the past four years, and the evidence shows in statistics. Google searches related to real estate have increased by 253%. For homeowners, it has been a perfect time for those who bought houses at lower prices in the past to sell them now for more. For homebuyers, the rising cost of properties in 2022 has not slowed down their demand.

Whether buying or selling a house, looks matter. We talked in a previous blog about how important photos are when selling your home. With the majority of home buyers starting online, pictures are going to be the deciding factor on whether they choose to take a step further for a showing, or even more so, whether they buy a house or pass it by.

Did you know that if you’re selling your home or helping someone sell a home, that there are things you can do to improve the home as well as its market impact while also improving your chances of selling quicker... WITHOUT SPENDING A DIME?!?!

Depending on what kind of house supplies you keep around this could very well be the case for you, too! Obviously, every situation is different, but for the majority it’ll apply. Especially if you occupy a home while you’re in the listing and/or selling phases!

As a full-time real estate photographer, I capture a lot of amazing homes in various places and price ranges. The one thing that holds true for each, if it’s showcased well, it’ll have a better chance of selling. No matter if it’s a million-dollar home or a little shack in the woods. Simple, I know... but very real and true.
