Located at the corner of Patterson and Fourth Street, the Bailey Power Plant and Park is a wonderful place for a photo session. This area is full of a mix of beautiful green spaces and industrial backdrops, as well as an incredible coffee shop (Anchor Coffee) with great lighting and the eponymous coal pit. 

If you are looking for an area with a variety of different looks, both indoors and outdoors, the area in and around Bailey Power Plant is a great spot for modern yet timeless graduation portraits.

2. A Walk In The Art

This beautiful art park is located between the city’s vibrant art district and Wake Forest University’s Innovation Quarter. There are bright red sculptures mimicking the city's skyline and smokestacks as well as several murals. 

At night, the area lights up, and clouds of mist are released from the red stacks to imitate Winston-Salem’s bygone era. If you are looking for something different, this is the place to go.

3. The Quarry At Grant Park

Who said an old quarry can't be reclaimed into something beautiful? This old quarry has been filled in with rain water and has turned into a beautiful pond with an amazing overlook that towers over the pond and looks toward the skyscrapers downtown. If you are looking for a classic Winston-Salem backdrop, this is the place to be.

4. Downtown Greensboro

Greensboro is full of old urban charm, as well as beautiful art spaces, theaters, and more. This is a great spot to explore for your next photo session. Plus, Greensboro is home to several universities, such as UNC Greensboro and Guilford College, making the city a great place to get graduation portraits made, especially if you are graduating from one of these well-known institutions.
