I don’t need to tell you how important excellent photography is for your wedding. There is a lot of work that culminates in this one day -- you want to make sure it’s captured, and captured with beauty and reverence for the occasion.

I focus on my clients and making them feel comfortable and at ease. A natural smile, caught in a beautiful candid moment, is so priceless. 

There are many ebbs and flows during weddings. At times I need to disappear into the background of the occasion, while at other times, during more formal arrangements, I can provide the direction that’s needed to pull the group together -- all the while maintaining a comfortable atmosphere for everyone involved.

The Process

Couples are like spring blossoms, not one like the other. In order to better understand what sort of approach the couple wants to take -- bold, creative, traditional, etc. -- I like to meet with the engaged couple over coffee or tea, if possible. In this way we can get to know each other, and I can learn important details of the vision you have in your mind of your wedding. 

Often, we’ll address questions about sneak peek shots before the I do’s, or if you’re remaining separate until the walk; if there will be children involved; any special needs you may have; questions about boudoir photographs versus bridal portraits; and so on.

From here we’ll decide if we’re a good fit for each other, and go from there. This creative consultation is free of charge.
